Lake Country Dentistry welcomed Dr. Sam to the team in January 2011. Dr. Sam is a graduate of Marquette University Dental School and enjoys working with Dr. Cotey to provide excellent, state-of-the-art dental care and in continuing to improve the dental health of their patients.
It is said that a smile can brighten the darkest day, and Dr. Sam's goal is to provide her patients with healthy, beautiful smiles that they can share with confidence. She particularly enjoys improving the esthetic quality of her patients’ smiles. Advances in dentistry are constantly evolving, and Dr. Sam makes it a priority to stay up-to-date with progressive technology in order accomplish these goals the best way possible.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Sam grew up in Kenosha. During high school, she was inspired to become a dentist and after graduation moved to Milwaukee. She lived there for 7 years while attending Marquette University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and later her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree. Dr. Sam now lives in Oconomowoc, WI with her fiancé Eric (who is also a dentist ) and enjoys serving the friendly people of beautiful lake country. Dr. Sam and Eric will be married in May 2012, and are looking forward to their upcoming wedding. In her free time, Dr. Sam enjoys staying active, the great outdoors, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Mike Messer
Dr. Michael Messer is thrilled to join the professional team at Lake Country Dentistry! He has been a dentist since 2010 and is enthusiastic and passionate about practicing high quality dentistry with a patient-centered approach. His patients quickly discover that their comfort is his utmost priority.
Dr. Mike is originally from Manhattan Beach, California. He came to Wisconsin in 2001 to attend Marquette University and earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2005. Dr. Mike earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010 and shortly after, married his wife Jackie, whom he met while attending Marquette. Mike and Jackie moved to Oconomowoc in winter 2011 and will be welcoming their first child in early June. Dr. Messer has grown to deeply enjoy living in southeastern Wisconsin and knows this area will be his home for many years to come.
